I recorded myself typing on my corsair k95 rgb platinum. This is a keyboard with cherry mx brown mechanical switches and has a tactile feel to it. I recorded this with a audio-technica at2020 condenser microphone w/ pop filter and shock mount.
Processed recording of a mechanical computer keyboard. Captured using a rode nt5 microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Edited and processed in ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. One more thing. Maybe check out my links, perhaps you'll find something you like. :o).
I installed in december 2011 my sound data for bfd-eco, an acoustic drum vst that really rocks. By that time i had my akai mpc 1000 connected to my computer to do some sampling. While i didn't do any sampling while the installation progressed i did hear that the external hard drive that i was installing onto sent out disturbing binary pulses that my mpc picked up. I quickly started the sampler, and recorded as much as i could of the noises. This is the result.
Typing on a mechanical cherry blue mx keyboard. Mouse clicks and some handling noise of a kensington trackball. Recorded on a shure pga27 condenser microphone through a focusrite di box. Raw sound, untreated.

A sound similar to a automatic gun. I made this by tapping my mic on a table. If you use this sound in a video and submit it online please give me credit. Copy and paste what is in quotes below. "mrjohnweez: https://www. Youtube. Com/user/mrjohnweez".
Typing on a loud, clacky m-series keyboard. There's a little bit of white noise in the background; if there's an interest i'd be willing to re-record without the white noise. Just leave a comment.
A one-sided communication. I was right, something was going on. It wasn't at all what you might think, either. Imagine things that are outside of the norm. You'll hit it. . . Have fun.
This is a sequence i created for my podcast. It is a male running through a crazy maze. Sounds used are breathing, running, chains, whistle, explosion, fall and a spat. I have a version with train noise in the background.
